Causative Form

An appropriate form to have or to get plus the past participle is used to show that the subject caused someone else to perform an action.


Example:
  1. I often have my shoes shined.
  2. He had the work done by an expert.
  3. Did she hece her house painted
  1. I often get my shoes shined.
  2. He got the work done by an expert.
  3. Did she get her house painted.
